Precautionary Principle
Over the years there has been a great deal of controversy over the application of the precautionary principle to risk-based decision making.
Dr. Kumanan Wilson is conducting a survey to ascertain the current level of understanding and application of the precautionary principle by decision makers within the Government of Canada.
If you have been mailed a survey you may complete it online here. By completing this survey you will aid in increasing our understanding of the use of the Principle by senior decision makers.
The survey should take 10 – 15 minutes to complete. The information obtained from this survey is strictly confidential and will be presented as aggregate results.
